In a first-person narrative, a Lakota shaman blends an explanation of the mystery and ritual of the sacred pipe with a lively account of growing up Native American.
This book group, facilitated by Deborah Clairmont-Ross and Janet Poitra, will read and discuss Black Elk: The Sacred Ways of a Lakota throughout the year.
Copies of the book are available to borrow for the year at the Downtown Library's Service Desk.
